The Records staff submits traffic crash reports when the damage is $1,000 or more, or if there have been injuries, to the Collisions Report Division of the North Carolina DMV. All traffic crash reports are scanned and placed on the Internet. Copies of accident reports can be obtained from a Records Division staff member or by going online to: www.policereports.us.

The Records staff also records traffic citations and submits our agency’s traffic stop statistics to the SBI. The Records Division can provide you with a copy of your traffic citation as well as look up your court date, if needed.

The Records Division is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can obtain copies of police reports during these hours. The cost for a report is $2.00. If you would prefer to obtain an accident report online, please visit http://pinevillenc.policereports.us to order a copy of the report. If possible, have your report number available to help expedite your request. Please allow at least 48 hours for your report to be completed and processed
